Let me set the scene for truly wonderful restaurant highly regarded by our friends Howard & Leslie. Since, however, www.phoodographsandfinds.com is also about my finds…we’ll make a quick stop there for all our music fans!
Sandy and I were in Florida and made a plan to see our good friends Howard, Leslie and Jeff and then head off to see, at the Boca Black Box, the best cover band anywhere…according to me.
BTW…this best cover band anywhere will be performing again at Boca Black Box this coming Monday, February 24th at 2 PM celebrating The Everly Brothers with THE EVERLY SET …and…again on June 5th with “Forever Simon & Garfunkel”. Perfetto!
In short, “Forever Simon & Garfunkel” lead you into a tribute celebrating the music of the best selling duo in rock ‘n roll history. “With humor, soaring energy, charm and laser precise harmony, Sean Altman and Jack Skuller lead the audience on a concert journey through Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel’s teenage roots, their early success as a groovy folk act, their global dominance as hit-makers, and even some of Paul Simon’s solo career.” Let’s not leave out their “Everly Set” celebrating Phil and Don Everly…ie…Everly Brothers

OK…So now off to one of Howard and Leslie’s favorite restaurants to meet Jeff for dinner at The Bronx themed PIZZA TIME restaurant. It really was an easy decision since Howard knows my taste buds and I respect his food tastes.
Short and sweet. Everything we were served was delicious and the service was with a smile. Oh yes…and there were plenty of extra napkins 🙂

Before we left I just had to meet the proprietor…and fortunately Chef Guido from The Bronx was there and, as busy as he was, he came out for a meet and greet. So folks…Meet Gracious Chef Guido and say Hello to Howard, Leslie, Jeff , Sandy and yours truly.
